IMMIGRATION CANADA

IMMIGRATE TO CANADA WITH EXPRESS ENTRY

Looking for the fastest and most efficient way to become a permanent resident of Canada? The Express Entry system is the leading immigration pathway for skilled workers who want to build a new life in Canada. As experienced Canadian immigration lawyers, we can guide you through every step of your Express Entry application — from assessing your eligibility to submitting a strong, complete profile that increases your chances of success.

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is a points-based immigration system used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers. It includes three main programs:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

  2. Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

  3. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Depending on your education, work experience, and language skills, you may qualify for one or more of these programs.

What Are the Requirements for the Express Entry?

If a skilled worker wishes to apply for an Express Entry visa, he or she should:  Have at least one year of work experience in a particular professional occupation,  Be able to demonstrate language proficiency in English or French on the required level,  Have completed post-secondary education that matches the ECA standards.

How Does Express Entry Work?

When skilled workers wish to gain a permanent visa to stay in Canada, they apply for it through this electronic system used by the Canadian government. The Express Entry process is simple and consists of two major stages. In the first one, the eligible candidates indicate their desire to become permanent residents to the Canadian government. In the second phase, the government invites the best-ranked candidates to immigrate to Canada.   Find out if you’re eligible for Express Entry.  Once you receive a positive answer and your application is approved, you’ll receive CORP (Confirmation of Permanent Residence).

How long does the Express Entry process take ?

Once you create a profile on the IRCC website, it can last up to one year. When candidates receive ITA, it can take around six months for the government to process their permanent residence applications. The process is started to be measured when the complete permanent residence application is received. If a candidate doesn’t receive ITA within a year of creating a profile on the IRCC website, they should try sending it again.

DO I NEED TO HIRE THE PROFESSIONAL HELP OF AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER?

It would be helpful if you had an extra skilled hand to help you in this process. In addition, getting a professional opinion and support from someone who has been through this process with clients can be very beneficial. An experienced, skilled, and trustworthy Canadian immigration lawyer can maximize your chances of success. If you need help with an application for Express Entry or have any other questions, book your appointment, and we’ll gladly answer them.
